On Friday night (31), Bellator arrives in Temecula, California (United States) for edition number 293. In the main fight of the event, which has 15 fights scheduled, Brazilian Marcelo Golm faces the North- American Daniel James eyeing a chance to fight for the organization's heavyweight belt (up to 120,2kg).
Undefeated since leaving the UFC in 2019, Marcelo Golm arrives for the duel riding on four consecutive victories, the last two of which were achieved in Bellator's circular cage. The Brazilian currently occupies fifth place in the heavyweight rankings and sees a victory this Friday as a good chance of getting closer to the belt that currently belongs to Ryan bader.

To do so, however, the Brazilian will have to get past Daniel James. 'The Predator' is looking for his second consecutive victory in the Bellator cage and the fifth consecutive victory in his career. The North American occupies seventh place in the division ranking.
Another highlight of the event is the co-main fight of the night. In the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg), the former UFC belt challenger Zingano cat measures forces with the promising British Leah McCourt. The tendency is for the winner of the duel to qualify to compete for the belt against the Brazilian Chris Cyborg.
