The passion for MMA touches fans across the country, regardless of gender, age or social status. This Sunday (23), a result of UFC Fight Night 38, held in Natal (RN), moved the highest echelon of Acre's executive power. After the defeat of Francimar Bodão, born in Xapuri (AC), to the Dutch Hans Stringer on the preliminary card of the event, the state governor Tião Viana (PT) went to the Facebook express their dissatisfaction with the judges' decision.

“They stole Bodão”, Tião published on his official profile on the social network. The government official's publication quickly received several comments, most of which differed from the politician's position and agreed with the judges' decision – which gave Stringer victory in a unanimous decision.

Bodão's setback at UFC Natal interrupted a four-fight unbeaten streak that had lasted since May 2011. Francimar now has a record of 16 wins and four losses. As an Ultimate athlete, the Nova União light heavyweight has a triumph over his compatriot Ednaldo Lula at UFC Rio 4, and defeated Stringer.
