Durinho talks about rivalry with Masvidal and reveals his opponent's behavior behind the scenes

Scheduled to face each other in April, Gilbert Durinho e Jorge masvidal they just incorporate characters during the provocations. In an interview given to 'Submission Radio', the Brazilian highlighted the North American's behavior away from the cameras and declared that 'Jesus das Ruas' is a good man.

“I saw him a few times in Florida. We have a small organization here, not so small, it's in UFC Fight Pass, Titan FC. I have some teammates, he has some teammates. So I saw him there a few times. We were just cool. I showed him respect and he respects me. We have some mutual friends. Not real close friends, nothing special. He's not the gangster people think he is. He's a good guy. I respect him a lot,” Burns said.

In a confrontation scheduled for April 8th, Durinho and Masvidal will have the second most important fight of the night in the UFC 287. In an event headlined by Alex Poatán e Israel adesanya, the representatives of the welterweight category (up to 77,1kg.) will measure their strength in an attempt to get closer to the belt.

Victorious in his last combat, in UFC 283, where he finished Neil Magny, Gilbert went on to accumulate 21 wins and five losses on his record.
