According to his manager, Ted Ehrhardt, Hendricks suffered the injury approximately two weeks before his fight with Lawler. The fighter said he heard a pop in the area in the first round of the fight. Additionally, Hendricks also suffered a crack in his left shin in the opening five minutes against Lawler.
Hendricks' surgery is scheduled for next Monday (24). If everything goes as expected, the fighter will have to rest for a month, with another month of physiotherapy, totaling two months away from training.
