Voted 'fight of the night' UFC 283, Glover Teixeira e Jamahal hill not only drove the audience crazy, but also moved the former UFC middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg), Israel adesanya. With a tradition of reacting to Ultimate fights, the Nigerian published a video on his YouTube channel in which he appears proud of the fighters' attitude and presentation.

"Very special. Crazy. That's what I say, only a few, very few humans will understand this feeling. Even though I see Jamahal hill go through this, I was getting chills watching him. And to get to that point in a fight like this. He's dominating, but to get to the fifth round, with him trying to push Glover away and he won't go away, it's crazy. And some people might buckle under that kind of pressure, but he didn't. He remained standing. He’s crying, emotional, it’s very beautiful,” said Adesanya.

When referring to Glover, Israel spared no praise and recognized all the willpower the 43-year-old fighter had during the battle.

“The fighter with the most courage. He's right there, the man isn't leaving. Athletes like him are the most difficult to face. And as he said: 'Too tough for your own good.' So he's a smart man to know, 'Okay, I don't want to continue to suffer harm like this from these young people. So, I'll stop here'. And what a way to hang up the gloves in your home country”, concluded the fighter.

Former middleweight champion, Israel adesanya is speculated as the next challenger for the belt. After being defeated by Alex Poatán, the Nigerian seeks a rematch with an eye on resuming his reign in the category.
