In a clash of organizations on Saturday, the 31st, AJ Mckee, from Bellator, will face one of Rizin's representatives and lightweight champion, Roberto de Souza. During the press conference held this afternoon, the North American praised the Brazilian, better known as 'Satoshi', but said that he has a caliber never seen by his opponent.

"He is good. I feel like he hasn't fought anyone of my caliber yet, so I'm looking forward to giving him a good fight and pushing the pace. It's going to be a fun fight, it's going to be an exciting fight. It's going to be a fight where I think people are going to love it, I'm going to love it, I'm just going to be out there having fun, doing what I love to do. It's a ring, not an octagon, so for me it's going to be a little different, but for this fight in particular, I'm not too worried about it,” said Mckee.

Known for provoking his opponents, AJ appears to have changed the puck for this matchup. The Bellator athlete made a point of highlighting the Brazilian's ability on the ground and claimed they were equivalent in grappling skills.

“He has a phenomenal ground game. I don't think I've fought anyone with the caliber of jiu-jitsu he has. I think this is going to be a great test. I feel like I have jiu-jitsu as equal as him. So when we hit the ground, it will be a surprise for everyone – even me. I'm intrigued to see how it turns out. He's very skilled, he appears with that triangle and transitions to the armbar very well. So, yes, this will be fun”, concluded the fighter.

The two athletes only have one defeat on their record. Satoshi is enjoying a great moment in his organization, where he has won his last four fights by submission, without needing to reach the third round. On the other hand, the North American suffered defeat in the penultimate fight, losing to Patrick Pitbull, in a rematch.
