The Brazilian applied a sequence 'à la Vitor belfort' against Wanderlei Silva and overcame Jinh Yu Frey by knockout. The duel was valid for the straw division (up to 52,1kg).
The 'Iron Lady' returned to the path of triumph after the defeat to Tabatha Ricci, in June this year. She achieved her fourth victory in Ultimate and updated her record to 13 positive results and five negative results.

At the end of the preliminary card, Miranda maverick confirmed superiority and status as 'biggest favourite' of the card to overcome Shanna Young. With a strong rhythm in the grappling game, the North American applied good takedowns to her compatriot, dictated the pace and won by unanimous decision from the judges.
Maverick extends his record with a second consecutive victory – the 11th of his career. She also has four other losses. Young, on the other hand, is unable to achieve a positive streak and has a record of eight positive results and five negative results.
