Looking for his second victory since debuting in Ultimate in June last year, lightweight Cristiano Marcello was confirmed as another Brazilian athlete to join the UFC Fight Night 36 card, in Jaraguá do Sul (SC). The organization made it official that Cristiano will face American Joe Proctor at the event on February 15th.
At 35 years old, Cristiano Marcello has a record of 13 wins and five losses. Former Chute Boxe coach, Marcello participated in TUF 15, but ended up eliminated in the round of XNUMX of the reality show. The Curitiba native debuted in Ultimate with a defeat to Sam Sicilia, then beat Reza Madadi at UFC Rio 4 and, in March of this year, he was defeated by Kazuki Tokudome.
UFC Fight Night 36 takes place on February 15, 2014, at Jaraguá Arena, in Jaraguá do Sul (SC). In the main fight of the night, the former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida faces the Armenian-Dutch Gegard Mousasi. In the co-main fight of the night, Ronaldo Jacare faces Francis Carmont.
