A new injury forced the organization of the Jungle Fight to change the schedule for its 61st edition, which will be held on November 23rd, in Campos dos Goytacazes (RJ).
Renato Moicano He was injured in preparation for the event and had to withdraw from the interim bantamweight belt fight. Thus, he will be replaced by Alberto Pantoja, 32 years old, who has a record of 12 wins and eight losses.
In the event's original schedule, Moicano would face the category champion, Mario Israel, who also left the card due to an injury. He was replaced by Jonas Brilharinho, who has three consecutive victories in the organization.
The co-main event of the night will be the clash between lightweights Magno “Magnu” and Rogério “Karranca”. Another highlight of the night will be the duel between Gabriel Silva and Patrick Tavares in the bantamweight division (61kg). Brother of Erick silva, former Jungle champion and currently in the UFC, Gabriel is looking for his second consecutive victory in the tournament.
