Bethe Pitbull replaces Russian and debuts in UFC in December

Another Brazilian is about to debut in the Ultimate women's bantamweight division. Bethea “Pitbull” Correa, 30, signed by the organization in September, was announced as a replacement for Russian Aleksandra Albu at UFC Fight Night 33, in December. Bethe will face American Julie Kedzie at the event, which takes place in Australia.

Bethe Correa is undefeated in her career, having won six victories as a professional. Potiguar went through several events before arriving at Jungle Fight, the largest MMA organization in Latin America, where he held his last fight. In his record, there are five victories by decision and one knockout. Her opponent, Julie Kedzie, has extensive experience in the sport. Kedzie has a record of 16 wins and 12 losses. The North American comes from three consecutive defeats, the last of which was in Ultimate.

UFC Fight Night 33 takes place on December 7th at the Brisbane Entertainment Center in Brisbane (Australia). The main fight of the night pits heavyweights Antônio “Pezão” Silva and Mark Hunt. In the co-main event, Brazilian Mauritius Shogun seeks to rehabilitate himself, after two consecutive defeats, against New Zealander James Te Huna.
