In a great moment at Bellator, Marcelo Golm was the pivot of an unusual moment during his presentation last Friday (22), in Tacoma (USA). The Brazilian, who won a tough fight against the 'giant' Davion Franklin, was 'caught' wearing a mouthguard with the UFC logo, the company he defended between 2017 and 2019, and the current bosses' biggest competitor.
The moment happened between the first and second rounds. At the time, Golm was undergoing medical treatment for a deep cut on his eyebrow.

In the fight, better for the Tupiniquim. After accepting the commitment to face number eight in the heavyweight rankings (up to 120,2kg), Marcelo did not have an easy life, but won with a submission in the last round.
With the victory, Golm should soon be included in the top 10 of the division led by Ryan bader. In addition to reaching the group's elite, the Brazilian also remained undefeated in the organization, with two consecutive victories.
Promise of the category, Franklin has nothing to celebrate. Famous for his physical size, the 'giant' was a victim of physical exhaustion and showed exhaustion during much of the fight. The stumble for the Tupiniquim was the first in the fighter's career.
