Around 200 people, including fans, relatives and students, attended the burial, depositing a large number of flowers under the tomb. A heart of white and yellow flowers, as well as wreaths sent by those who could not be present, gave the certainty that Ryan Gracie will be missed. His father, Robson, and sister Flavia were among the most emotional. At the time of the burial, which took place around 16pm, a round of applause broke the silence in the cemetery. At the end of the ceremony, friends and fans of Ryan, buried wearing a kimono and black belt, continued to visit the grave.

The SUPER LUTAS website sympathizes with Ryan Gracie's family and prays that the fighter finds peace.
