After Dana White confirmed that the winner of the duel between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Weili Zhang will fight for the strawweight belt (under 52,2kg) Subsequently, the Polish woman revealed that she already knew this information. “I'm not surprised. I knew that from my last fight. I wouldn't sign (a) new deal if I didn't know I would be a title challenger after winning my next fight,” said Jedrzejczyk.

With an eye on regaining the belt, the former strawweight champion will face the Chinese again Weili Zhang, on the main card of UFC 275. In the first duel, in March 2020, the two fighters fought an intense 'war' that ended with the Asian fighter's victory in a controversial split decision. The clash was voted 'Fight of the Year' that season.
