Brazilian Luiz Buscapé faces former UFC fighter Jacob Volkmann at WSOF 6

Luiz “Buscapé” Firmino, from Paraíba, 31 years old, veteran of events such as PRIDE and DREAM, will debut for the organization World Series of Fighting on October 26th. According to journalist Ariel Helwani, from the “MMA Fighting” website, Buscapé's opponent will be the American Jacob Volkmann, a former UFC athlete.

Luiz Firmino and Jacob Volkmann will fight the last fight on the WSOF 6 preliminary card, which takes place in Coral Gables (USA). The main card of the event features the participation of Brazilians Marlon moraes and Marcelo “Grilo” Alfaya, former UFC welterweight title challenger Jon Fitch, former Ultimate athlete Josh Burkman and Dan Lauzon – younger brother of Joe lauzon.

Luiz Buscapé has a record of 16 wins and six losses. Luiz has already worked for several MMA organizations, including the Russian event M-1 Global and the Japanese PRIDE, Shooto and DREAM. His opponent, Jacob Volkmann, has a similar record of 16 wins and four losses. Volkmann is coming off a victory over Lyle Beerbohm in his WSOF debut in June.
