Glover knocks out Bader and asks for a title shot

The Brazilian Glover Teixeira and the North American Glover Teixeira They put on a performance worthy of a main event. In a frank, open duel full of alternations, the fighter from Minas Gerais managed to recover from a disadvantage and knock out his rival in the first round. The duel closed UFC Fight Night 28, an event held this Wednesday (04), in Belo Horizonte.

The fight

As soon as the duel began, the athletes left their usual studies aside and went for a frank exchange of blows. The Brazilian landed a good blow first, but Bader recovered and shook the Brazilian with a left cross. Soon after, he tried to end the dispute with a guillotine choke, well defended by the Brazilian.

Then it was the Brazilian's turn to land a combination on Ryan and rock his rival. But with a high kick, the North American managed to make the Brazilian bend his knee. With a sequence of punches, closing with an upper, Bader came close to knocking out the Brazilian. However, with an overhand right he knocked the American down and ended the contest with several punches on the ground.

After the fight, to the delight of the fans, the Brazilian asked for the chance to fight for the belt. “I want a chance to compete for the title, I promise to bring this title back to Brazil”, he stated
