Former challenger for the UFC middleweight (up to 83,9kg) belt, Marvin vettori may be without an opponent for the UFC 275, which takes place on June 11th. On his social networks, the Italian indicated that Robert whittaker withdrew from the confrontation and asked for a new opponent. On Twitter, the athlete challenged Khamzat Shimaev.

Current number three in the division led by Israel adesanya, Marvin seeks to regain his title challenger status. The confrontation against Whittaker could encourage the Italian to make a new commitment against the category champion.
Challenged by Vettori, Chimaev comes from victory in his biggest fight as a professional in MMA. At the UFC 273, the Swede, considered the big bet for the company's future, surpassed Gilbert Durinho in the judges' decision. 'Dana White's pupil' has become known for not denying opponents.
At the time of publishing this article, Khamzat had not responded to the Italian's attack.
