I might fail at something, but if I find a solution, I can go back and try again. So I can sleep peacefully. That's what I did. Five or six days in isolation and I found a plan and I’m going to execute it”, said the athlete, in an interview with Podcast 'IMPAULSIVE'.
Dominated in the confrontation against Colby in the UFC 272, Masvidal was the victim of wrestling high level from former best friend. Without imposing his high-level striking, the fighter revealed that he will work on 'grappling' to evolve as an athlete.

(…) The best program in the country (in wrestling) is at Penn State. I have some good friends there, so I'll be spending some time in Pennsylvania. I will train wrestling morning and night. I don't need to work on my boxing. It will always be there”, he concluded.
After the loss to Colby, Jorge expanded the bad moment in his career. Overcome by unanimous decision from the judges, the athlete has accumulated three consecutive defeats and is outside the top 5 in the welterweight category.
