In the main fight of RIZIN 35, an event held last Sunday (17), in Tokyo, Japan, Roberto Satoshi submitted Johnny Case and defended the organization's lightweight title (up to 70,3 kg) for the second time. In addition to defending his belt, the Brazilian took revenge for the only defeat he suffered in his career, in 2019, when he was knocked out by the North American in the opening of the division's tournament.

Roberto Satoshi and Johnny Case kept the fight standing, exchanging blows for about a minute until the Brazilian took down and took the fight to the ground. Specialist in the gentle art, the Brazilian had no difficulty working on the ground and using an inverted triangle to win the fight in the first round.

The victory over Johnny Case was Roberto Satoshi's fifth in a row at Rizin. The Brazilian now has a record of 14 wins and just one loss in professional MMA. Furthermore, Satoshi scored the fourth straight triangle submission in the Japanese organization's ring.
