Even though he did not directly respond to the challenge of José Aldo, aljamain sterling He made it clear that he agreed with the fight.
“Hey, Dana White, when are we having a meeting? We clearly have a lot to discuss. PS: Go watch the first round again. You are WRONG”, wrote the bantamweight champion in response to Aldo’s “tweet”.

After losing his first two fights in the division, including the vacant title fight against Petr yan, the Brazilian scored three consecutive victories and occupies third place in the ranking, behind TJ Dillashaw, Petr yan and the champion aljamain sterling.
