In one of the biggest rivalries currently in Ultimate, aljamain sterling e Petr yan once again spiced up the atmosphere for the fight scheduled to take place in UFC 273, on April 9th. At the 'Twitter', the current champion began the conversation by asking the Russian to accept defeat in the first meeting between the athletes.
“To grow, you need to accept your losses like a man. The first step in the healing process is accepting your shortcomings. In other words, bro, you lost!” Sterling teased.
Yan then made a point of responding to Sterling's provocation and recalled the American crying after the duel. The Russian even highlighted his desire to 'finish' his rival in the confrontation.
“At least I didn’t lose my dignity like you did. I can imagine you crying after our next fight again. I'll end with you. Looking forward to your healing process,” replied Petr.
The feud began more than a year ago, in the first confrontation between the athletes, when Yan applied an illegal knee to Sterling's head, who was unable to continue the duel. The referee stopped the fight and disqualified the Russian, who lost the bantamweight belt (under 61,2kg).
