Finalist of the nineteenth and twenty-fifth seasons of The Ultimate Fighter, when he was defeated respectively by Eddie Gordon and Jesse Taylor, Dhiego Lima comes from two consecutive defeats in Ultimate, against Belal Muhammad | and, most recently, veteran Matt Brown. The Brazilian achieved three consecutive victories in the organization between 2018 and 2019 and is looking to resume his good form.
On the other side, Miguel Baeza lives in a similar situation to the Brazilian. Hired through the Contender Series, the American won his first three fights in the UFC between 2019 and 2020, but lost the two fights he had in 2021, against Santiago Ponzinibbio e Kalinn Williams.
In addition to the duel between Dhiego Lima and Miguel Baeza, the April 16th event has just one more confirmed fight. Due to its light weight (up to 70,3 kg), Drakkar Klose faces Brandon Jenkins.
