Chris Weidman This Saturday night (06), he marked his name in Ultimate history. The North American knocked out Anderson Silva, the greatest champion in the history of the organization, and took the middleweight belt from the Brazilian. Furthermore, the new owner of the belt has another reason to celebrate: He won the UFC 162 knockout bonus and pocketed a prize of US$50, approximately R$113.
In addition to Weidman, the winner of the event was the Brazilian Charles of the Bronx. Alongside the North American Frankie Edgar, the athlete from São Paulo won the bonus for best fight of the night. Both also took US$50.
