The anticipated fight between the heavyweight belt holder Cain Velazquez and the former category champion Junior Gypsy It should happen in October. At least that would have been the revelation made by Ultimate president Dana White to reporter Joe Ferraro, from the Canadian website UFC Central.
“Dana White stated that the Dallas Cowboys stadium is not in the plans. Cain Velazquez vs Junior dos Santos takes place in October in Houston (also in Texas)”, published the journalist on his profile on Twitter.

Information about the date or order of the event (whether it will be in pay-per-view or in partnership with the FOX group), however, were not disclosed. Although the exact location in Houston has not been reported, the most likely is that the Toyota arena, home of the NBA's Houston Rockets, will be the stage for fight night.
In November 2011, Junior dos Santos knocked out Cain Velazquez in the first meeting between the two and won the Ultimate heavyweight title. Just over a year later, in December last year, the North American came back and beat the Brazilian by unanimous decision of the judges and regained the division title.
