After showing interest in facing Vincent Luque, Nate diaz may have a new target in mind. This Friday (22), the 'bad boy' took social media by storm when he released a photo of Tony Ferguson, former interim lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg.). Even without any written text, the athlete raised suspicions about a possible clash.

MMA icon, Diaz is one fight away from the end of his UFC contract. In 2021, the American returned to the octagon after a hiatus of almost two years and ended up defeated by Leon edwards.
Former interim lightweight champion, Ferguson is going through his worst moment as a professional in MMA. The fighter, who was once one of the most feared in the category, has suffered three consecutive defeats and has not won since June 2019, when he beat Donald Cerrone.
While Nate is uncertain about what the next step in his career will be, Tony wants to prove that he is still capable of fighting at a high level. In its last three presentations, 'Bicho Papão' was largely dominated by Justin gaethje, Charles of the Bronx e Beneil Dariush.
Famous for generating great engagement from fans, Diaz also endured a long period without a positive result. The 'bad boy's last triumph took place in August 2019. On that occasion, the American overcame Anthony Pettis.
