Santiago Ponzinibbio reveals: 'I'm already signed by the UFC'

The main prize of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter its winner is a contract with UFC. However, while William Patolino e Leo Santos compete for the chance to sign with the main MMA organization on the planet, the finalist who ended up being cut from the program's decision, Santiago Ponzinibbio, revealed that he had already agreed with Ultimate.

“I'm already signed by the UFC. I'm already an Ultimate athlete. I am very happy with this news, which I received yesterday”, said Santiago, this Saturday (8), in an interview with the channel Combat, during the broadcast of TUF Brasil 2 Finale, in Fortaleza (CE). With the deal, the Argentine will be the first athlete from his country in Ultimate.

Santiago “El Rasta” Ponzinibbio, 26 years old, has a record of 18 wins and just one loss. The Argentine from La Plata won the right to compete in the final of TUF Brasil 2, by beating Leonardo Santos, but ended up being cut from the decision after an arm injury. His place as a finalist was occupied precisely by Leo Santos, also from Rodrigo Minotouro's team.
