Dana White and UFC are practically synonymous. In an interview with entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David, Dustin poirier pointed out the former light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) and heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) champion Daniel Cormier as a good name to replace Dana White as UFC president.
“It’s a difficult position to fill. I am not sure. Daniel Cormier, perhaps? Maybe someone who has been in combat sports. I don’t know if he knows much about the business side, but I think he would be a great face for the organization,” Poirier responded.
In the final stretch of the career, Daniel Cormier He began to divide himself between fighter and UFC commentator, until he definitively hung up his gloves after his second defeat against Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight belt, in August 2020.
