The second season of TUF Brasil will meet its finalists, this Sunday (02), in the last episode of the series. But before the semifinal duels, Leo Santos, Santiago Ponzinibbio, William Patolino e Viscardi Andrade spoke on the UFC YouTube channel about their expectations for the last fight inside the house.
When asked who they would like to face in the semi-finals, Viscardi Andrade took the floor and said: “I asked for Patolino”, said the Werdum team representative, hugging his possible rival. In turn, William replied: “What a coincidence, I was going to ask you. It’s nothing personal, but he’s the only guy on the rival team,” he commented.
Yes, Santiago Ponzinibbio, the only Argentine in the dispute, preferred not to choose an opponent and spoke of the difficulties of confinement. “We go through many situations here, the fight is the least of it. Maintaining your weight, being stuck in a house with people you don't know are very stressful situations. So the athlete who leaves here is a super athlete”, said Santiago. “It’s a unique, crazy experience. Being locked in a house without talking to anyone. Just going home from the gym is something we're not used to. So making weight, having three fights is something out of the ordinary,” he said. Leo Santos.
The grand final of TUF Brasil 2 will be played next Saturday (08), in Fortaleza, with live broadcast throughout Brazil.
