The former fighter, and now UFC commentator, Kenny Florian demonstrated all his affection for Brazil, and for the local public, in an interview with the website mma mania. Florian, who has already lived in the country for a period, praised the editions of Ultimate held on Brazilian soil.
“What stands out to me (in the Brazilian public) is their passion. The volume of the crowd is incomparable. I haven't seen anything like this, it's unreal. 7 thousand fans seem like 20 thousand in Brazil. The arena is almost full when the first fight is starting, something you don't see in the North American market. There is nothing like it in sport. It’s different from anywhere I’ve ever been,” said the TUF 1 finalist.

The relationship of Kenny Florian with Brazil there is also an important chapter inside the Octagon. After all, his last two opponents before retirement were Brazilians. First, the American beat Diego Nunes in June 2011. Afterwards, he ended up defeated by José Aldo in the fight for the featherweight belt, in October of the same year, and hung up his gloves definitively.
