Last Friday (24), Swedish-born Iranian lightweight Reza Madadi was arrested in Stockholm on suspicion of involvement in a major robbery at a luxury handbag store carried out in the city. The information was published on the local newspaper's website Expressen.
According to the tabloid, security cameras at the “Bottega Venetta” store caught three men breaking into the establishment and stealing some of the most expensive bags, with an estimated value of one million Swedish crowns (around R$309). Two of the three suspects were arrested after police pursuit, including Madadi.

According to the site Bloody elbow, the Swedish fighter asked to be represented by public defender Ivan Fialdini, who promptly denied all accusations against the athlete. If he is found guilty, Madadi could face up to six years in prison.
This is not the first time that Reza Madadi has been involved in legal problems. In 2009, the Iranian-Swedish man was also arrested on suspicion of participating in a robbery, but at the time the target was a bank. At the time, Madadi was judged innocent of all charges.
