After impressing in the Contender Series, Jailton Malhadinho faces his compatriot in his UFC debut

Hired by Ultimate after impressing on the reality show'Contender Series’, Jailton Malhadinho will debut in the organization against a compatriot. The fighter faces Danilo Marques on November 13th, in Las Vegas (USA), in a clash in the light heavyweight category (up to 93kg.). The information was released by 'Combat'.

A professional since 2012, Malhadinho stood out, firstly, by becoming Thunder Fight champion and submitting the undefeated Russian Nasrudin Nasrudinov to sign a contract with the UFC. Jailton, in fact, is on a run of nine consecutive victories and has a record of 14 triumphs and two setbacks.

Danilo Marques, in turn, is 35 years old and is trying to recover from the defeat he suffered against Kennedy Nzechukwu, in June this year. A 'Kings MMA' athlete, the São Paulo native has a record of 11 positive results and three negative results in his MMA career.

In addition to 'Malhadinho x Marques', Philip Lins e Marcos Foot are other Tupiniquin representatives on the card and face Ovince St Preux and Ben Rothwell. The event should feature a fight between featherweights (up to 65,7kg.) Max Holloway e Yair Rodriguez.
