Escalated to face Anderson Silva in a boxing match, former UFC champion Tito Ortiz has already had its first raid with the 'Spider'. In an interview with 'TMZ Sports', the controversial veteran criticized the Brazilian's demand to fight at 88,4kg and added by regretting that he hasn't reached that weight range for many years.

“He wants me to go down to 88,4 kg. He has fought at 93 kg six times in his career. He wants me to drop to 88,4kg, this shows that he is afraid of my power. The last time I was at this weight was when I was fighting wrestling in the second year of college. I'm going to make weight. I am going to try. I'm going to cut my leg to make weight. I've never failed the scale in my entire career but Anderson kind of pushed the envelope by doing that. I lost respect for this guy. He is one of the best mixed martial artists but I have lost respect for him. This gives me a little more energy, a little more aggression during training so I can punch him in the face in the fight”, said Tito.
Tito Ortiz e Anderson Silva will face each other in the 'Triller Fight Club' event, scheduled for September 11th. The spectacle will be headlined by the duel between fellow veteran Vitor belfort and boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya.
