Bellator confirms Renato 'Babalu' against Jacob Noe in June

Brazilian Renato “Babalu” Sobral already has a date set to return to fight for Bellator, the organization for which he has been fighting since January. 'Babalu' returns to cage on June 19th against Jacob Noe, in a match valid for the first round of the light heavyweight GP.

The event that hosts the fight between Sobral and Noe is Bellator 96, which will be held at the Winstar World Casino, in Thackerville, Oklahoma (USA). The main fight of the night is for the organization's lightweight belt, between Michael chandler and Dave Jansen.

Veteran Renato “Babalu”, 37 years old, has a record of 37 wins and ten losses in his career. In his last fight, the Rio native, who was already the light heavyweight champion of the now defunct Strikeforce, was defeated by the Russian Mikhail Zayats at Bellator 95.
