Willing to innovate and promote an open-air MMA event, the organizers of Georgia Fighting Chapionship (GFC) 13 did not count on an important detail: rain. On a card held last Wednesday (28), athletes were placed in a wet cage and what was seen was a show of falls. While fighters tried to stay standing, the public had fun around the fighting field.

Among men, there were also notable episodes. In the duel between Misha Goriashvili and Otari Khachiuridze, more falls. At one point, the combatants try to advance in the ground fight, but end up being prevented from making transitions by the slippery ground.

Even with the difficulties brought about by bad weather, the show went on. At all times, it was possible to notice that the athletes were walking cautiously, so as not to collapse.
