On the other hand, Reneau feels the 'bitter taste' of her eighth fight – the fifth in a row. At 44 years old, the American confirmed her departure and ends her career with nine positive results, eight negative results and one draw.

THE FIGHT

The combat began with a lot of study between the combatants, with Miesha Tate measuring distance and crossing low kicks. On the other hand, Marion Reneau chose to invest in strikes at close range, but was surprised by the approach of the 'Cupcake', who cornered her against the fence and delivered hard blows at close range. Tate even invested in clinch from muay thai, he had time to control the fight and still managed to put him down in the final stretch. She managed to progress to half guard before the end of the round.

More tepid, the second round had little exposure from the fighters. Still, Tate dove into the 'double lag' and lifted Reneau before taking her to the ground. In an advantageous position, she progressed to half guard. On top, Miesha also managed to land hard elbows on her opponent before the referee interrupted her.

In the third and final round, the 'Cupcake' came back determined to settle the invoice. She set a strong pace, went on top and 'hammered' Reneau until the referee interrupted the fight.
