Lightweight Melvin Guillard, with 19 fights for the UFC, no longer trains at the gym blackzilians. The North American announced, through his account on Twitter, who leaves the team to return to Jackson-Winkeljohn, led by Greg Jackson – coach of champions such as Georges St Pierre e Jon Jones.
“I am no longer a 'blackzilian'. I'm back where I belong: Jackson's“, the athlete posted on his profile on the microblogging network. Guillard had already trained with Greg Jackson in 2009, remaining with the team in Albuquerque, New Mexico (USA), until 2011, when he transferred his training to blackzilians.
Melvin Guillard is 29 years old and has been fighting professionally since 2002. His record includes 30 wins, 12 losses, two draws and one unsuccessful fight. “The Young Assassin”, as he is known, was a participant in the second edition of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter.
