“We continue training. He is an athlete and is always training here at the gym. I think we'll have something in September. I don't know who, because his company, Legends Only League (single league of legends, in free translation), is working on it and negotiating a contract with TV to announce a schedule. But we are training for a fight in September”, declared the coach.
Tyson founded his company, Legends Only League, in July 2020 as a new platform for retired boxers to compete in special events.
At 54 years old, he promoted his first fight in 15 years, in an exhibition clash with Roy Jones Jr. held in November 2020. On that occasion, 'Iron' performed for eight rounds in a clash that was declared a draw.
