Frustrated after seeing his duel against Tom Breese was postponed with just a few minutes to go, Antonio Arroyo did not hide his disappointment with what had happened. The middleweight fighter (up to 83,9kg) regretted the situation and said he will rest and think about his next step in the organization. The statement was made through his 'Instagram'.

“The work was done, all the sacrifices were made, and I did everything to be the best I could be for this fight. Unfortunately, my opponent withdrew ten minutes before the fight. I will leave it in the hands of the gods”, wrote the Brazilian.

Without hiding his frustration with what happened, Arroyo said that Ultimate has already offered him a new date to fight but declared that he will think calmly after returning to Brazil.

“As you know, my fight fell through and I was upset. It's frustrating, because I knew I was in great shape, at my peak. They offered me to fight at the end of the month but I don't know. Last time, it didn't go the way I wanted. I will return to Brazil and we will continue fighting. That's what we do but it's frustrating for sure. I hope to give you a good performance soon”, he concluded.

Hired by Ultimate after participating in 'Contender Series' in 2019, Antonio Arroyo comes from two consecutive defeats in the organization. The Brazilian fighter was defeated by André Sergipano and Deron Winn, both in the judges' decision. The fighter has a record of nine triumphs and four setbacks.
