In the wake of the dispute between Amanda nunes e Julianna Pena for the featherweight title (up to 65,7 kg.), Ultimate is working on another fight that promises to be exciting for Brazilian fans. The company negotiates the Tupiniquim confrontationJosé Aldo x Peter Munhoz' for the UFC 265, which takes place on August 7th. The information was released by 'Combate'.

Considered, by many, as one of the greatest Brazilian legends in MMA, the former featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg.) José Aldo comes from a victory against Marlon Vera, in December 2020. The 'People's Champion', as he is popularly known, occupies fifth place in the bantamweight category (up to 61,2kg.) and has a record of 29 triumphs and seven setbacks in his career.

Moreover, Peter Munhoz also comes from a positive result, against Jimmie rivera, in February this year. On that occasion, he had his 'arms raised' after three rounds in the judges' decision. He is currently eighth in the division and has a record of 19 victories, five setbacks and one unsuccessful fight.

In addition to 'José Aldo x Peter Munhoz', The UFC 265 will also feature the fight between Amanda nunes e Julianna Pena, valid for the featherweight belt, as the main attraction of the night.
