Brazil has its first representative in the UFC women's category. The Bahian Amanda nunes, 24 years old, agreed to join the biggest MMA organization on the planet, this Monday (25).

Amanda, who has an MMA record of seven wins and three losses, will still make one presentation before moving to the UFC. The “Lioness of the Rings”, as she is known, faces Kaitlin Young at Invicta FC, an exclusively women's event, on April 5th. After the show, she will compete in the UFC, but there is still no scheduled date for her debut in the Octagon.

In addition to Amanda, four other athletes were announced by Ultimate: Canadian Sarah Kaufman, North American Julie Kedzie and Dutch Germain de Randamie.
