After watching another show Amanda nunes in Ultimate, Chris Cyborg continues dreaming of a rematch against her compatriot. Defeated by the Bahian in December 2018, the Curitiba native used her 'Twitter' account to challenge the 'Leoa', who ran her over Megan anderson No. UFC 259 and retained the featherweight belt (up to 65,7kg.). Just over two years ago, the Pojucana took the title from Cris, who reigned in the division.

“I’m never far away,” wrote Cyborg, who published an image with a shirt with the print ‘Cyborg x Nunes’.
Although he has never hidden his desire to return to exchange forces against Amanda, Cyborg will have great difficulty in receiving a rematch. The Curitiba native who, for many, is the best fighter of all time, ended up leaving the UFC in 2019, when she did not renew her contract and moved to Bellator.
In the competition, Cris won the featherweight title in his first commitment. From then on, the Curitiba native began the campaign to promote a 'cross event', with the 'best in Bellator' against the 'best in the UFC'.
Although, for some fans, the idea makes sense, the superfight comes up against the desire of the company's president, Dana White, who never had a good relationship with Cyborg. One of the main reasons for the non-renewal was the public friction between the fighter and the UFC boss.
