At 30 years old, Buchecha has been champion of the International Federation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (IBJJF) 13 times, having won six of the eight most recent World Championships. He also won two gold medals at the Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC), which is considered one of the biggest tournaments in the sport today.

Kane, 28, has only one martial arts fight under his belt. In December 2019, he knocked out Frenchman Sofiane Boukichou at the 'Ares Fighting Championship' event. Videos of him were well received in the past due to the aggressive way he acted in Senegalese wrestling.

At the same event, Brazilian Adriano “Mikinho” Moraes defends the company's belt against former UFC champion, Demetrious Johnson. The clash will be worth the ONE bantamweight belt (up to 61,2kg).
