Dana White's position contradicted yet another athlete from his organization. After Valentina Shevchenko overcome Jennifer maia, UFC 255, an event held on Saturday (21), in Las Vegas, USA, the company president revealed that the next challenger for the flyweight champion (56,7kg) could be Jessica Andrade and left Lauren Murphy worried and angry about the situation.
On her social networks, the North American criticized the UFC for ignoring her good sequence of results and favoring 'Bate-Estaca', who won her flyweight debut, and, if she doesn't fight Valentina next, she informed that she would be open to face the Brazilian.

When fighters do this, they become annoying. I have said many times that I would be happy to fight Jessica. It would be a great fight and a great test, for sure. I would love to face a former champion!” Murphy posted on Twitter.
Upon learning that Valentina also disagreed with Dana and mentioned her name as a possible opponent, Murphy thanked the number one flyweight and showed confidence if he faced her.
“Valentina mentioning my name made my day! It's great to be remembered by the champion! The fight against Jennifer showed that she can be beaten”, he concluded.
Currently, Lauren Murphy is in fifth place in the flyweight rankings. The 37-year-old athlete has won four consecutive fights and is experiencing her best moment in the UFC.
