Time passes for everyone and the maxim, unfortunately, does not forgive even great champions. Responsible for large shows in several companies, Anderson Silva says goodbye to Ultimate this Saturday (31), at UFC Las Vegas 12, against the dangerous Uriah Hall. In total, 11 clashes are scheduled.

On this weekend's card, Anderson, 45, will end a cycle of almost 15 years shining in the octagon. The most imposing champion in the middleweight division (up to 83,9kg), the mixed martial arts phenomenon wants to end his time in the company with a flourish in the fight at the event.
In the penultimate presentation of the card, the featherweight representatives (up to 65,7kg.), Bryce mitchell e André Fili exchange forces seeking a better position in the category led by Alexander Volkanovsky.
In addition to Anderson, Brazil will be represented by Thiago Moses. The athlete will face the veteran Bobby Green in a confrontation that promises excitement.
Anderson 'Spider' Silva: a farewell to the legend
Some may not like his personality, but it is difficult to find someone who criticizes his technical ability. Anderson Silva. Owner of impressive numbers in his career as middleweight champion, the Brazilian made and still makes history wherever he goes.
This weekend, without the pomp he deserved, the athlete will exchange forces against the dangerous Uriah Hall, which currently occupies the 10th position in the ranking of the division led by Israel adesanya. Without an audience, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Silva will try to give a private show with his team, his rival and professionals who work to put on the show.
The duel against Hall will mark 'Spider's' 46th appearance as a professional in MMA. At 45 years old, the São Paulo native will try to prove once again that he is capable of performing on equal terms against a younger rival with knockout power that attracts attention.
Anderson has not performed since the setback he suffered Jared Cannonier, in August 2019, by UFC 237. Like the Brazilian, Hall has been out of action for over a year. In his last commitment, the North American surpassed Antônio 'Shoe Face', in the judges' decision.
In recent statements, Silva has made it clear that his desire was not to say goodbye to Ultimate this Saturday, but to fulfill his contract – which includes one more performance, in addition to the duel against Hall – until the end. UFC president Dana White, however, promoted the clash as 'Spider's' last with the company's gloves.
More Brazil
In addition to Anderson, Brazil would be represented by two more fighters: Thiago Moses e Priscila Pedrita. The athlete, however, ended up having problems at the weigh-in and was removed from action.
Moses, however, remains firm in his commitment. A lightweight representative (up to 70,3kg), the athlete returns to the Octagon after recovering from Covid-19. This Saturday, the fighter will face the experienced Bobby Green and tries his second positive result in a row.
While Thiago goes for his second performance in 2020, Green reaches the impressive mark of four engagements this year. The North American wants to maintain his 100%, as he has beaten every opponent that has come his way this season.
