Current UFC featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg), Alexander Volkanovsky will be connected to UFC Ilha da Luta 6, which takes place this Saturday (17), in Abu Dhabi. In the main fight, Brian ortega will exchange forces against Chan sung jung, or 'Korean zombie', in the duel that will define the next challenger for the belt. Knowing this, the Australian sent a message (see below) directly to the protagonists of the show.

“They are close (to a title fight). There are some guys who are one fight away from being challengers. So, whoever goes there, fights, and wins, takes the place of challenger. I don't care who it is. I'm not afraid of any of them. They can come. If one of them wins, especially the 'Korean zombie' – he's in a good phase -, I think that if he wins this, the UFC will definitely want to schedule this fight”, said the Australian, in a post made on Ultimate's social networks.
Champion of the category since December last year, Alexander understands that he is in a more than privileged position after defeating, twice, Max Holloway, one of the best representatives of the group in recent years.
“I can handle them all. I can't see any of them beating me. You know I'm not the arrogant type, but I think my hardest fight is over. Obviously, the category changes a lot, the game changes. Things may change soon, but right now, I don't see them as major threats. I see them just throwing lucky punches or lucky submissions. I think I'm superior. Let them do what they have to do and let’s see if they can prove me wrong”, he concluded.
This Saturday, the 'Korean zombie' will put into play an unbeaten record of two consecutive victories. In a great phase, Sung is currently 4th in the group led by Volkanovski.
While his rival played twice last year, Brian will make his return to the octagon after more than two years. The North American's last fight took place against Max Holloway, at UFC 231, in the fight for the category belt.
