Recently, Jones, who is considered the best light heavyweight of all time, made his move to the 120kg category official. By giving up the position of champion of the under-93kg group, 'Bones' will try something unprecedented in his career in Ultimate, which is to win a title in a different division.

Last year, there were rumors that current middleweight champion Adesanya might have a superfight against Jones. The two even exchanged barbs on social media, but the confrontation was never negotiated.

Now, if he overcomes the Nigerian, Borrachinha will be able to take on the role of his rival and go after Jones. It is not yet known, however, whether the Minas Gerais native will be willing to move up to heavyweight or will challenge the North American to a fight at 93kg.
