Brock Lesnar is one of the few names that, despite being away from MMA since 2016, has shaken the structure of the sport. The former heavyweight champion (120kg) is out of contract with WWE and, with no future defined, several organizations are moving to sign the 43-year-old veteran. If it depends on Tony Ferguson, Lesnar will return to the UFC. The former interim lightweight champion (70kg) was so excited about the possibility that he surprised himself by answering the challenge made by Jon Jones, stating that he would like to train the giant against him in a possible superfight against him.

“This is a fight I would love to help with. I would train side by side with my coach, Lesnar, just like the old days. #CountOnMe”, posted Ferguson.

The old times that 'El Cucuy' was referring to were the year 2011. Sports fans may consider the idea unusual, but it makes sense. In season, Tony Ferguson participated in TUF 13 (The Ultimate Fighter), edition that he won by knocking out Ramsey Nijem, and was trained, precisely, by Brock Lesnar. The rival team's coach was Júnior 'Cigano', but the fight between the Brazilian and Lesnar did not happen, due to the American's health problem.
