Nemkov surprises Bader

The promisse Vadim nemkov took no notice of Ryan bader and simply punished the ex-UFC veteran. Nemkov, younger, looked sharper on his feet and forced Bader to use his wrestling in the first round. The North American was successful, but was unable to prevail on top.

If the first round was close, the second was a Nemkov show. Right at the beginning, he rocked Bader, who accused the blow and retreated. Minutes later, the Russian delivered a straight shot followed by a powerful high kick. The North American was knocked down. From then on, the Russian threw several punches at his rival on the ground, but the referee did not stop the fight. Bader showed all his courage by not surrendering, he got up, but when he tried to escape, he was hit by a right hand and collapsed.

With the result, Nemkov scores his 12th victory as a professional and avenges his mentor Fedor Emelianenko who had been knocked out by the American. On the other hand, Bader, who hasn't lost since 2016, suffers his first defeat in Bellator in seven fights. Now, he turns his attention to defending the heavyweight belt.

Julia Budd recovers and wins again

In the second most important fight of the attraction, julia budd confirmed his favoritism by beating Jessy Miele in a unanimous decision by the judges. The fight was nothing exciting, however, the former featherweight champion recovered from the defeat she suffered against Chris Cyborg.

In the fight, Budd found it difficult to stand up against Miele, who specializes in jiu-jitsu. However, from the second round onwards, the Canadian worked on her takedown game, keeping her rival on her back on the ground. From above, she hit the North American who showed no reaction.

In the end, victory julia budd in the unanimous decision of the judges (30-27, 30-26, 30-27).

Roy Nelson suffers fifth consecutive defeat

the bad phase of Roy Nelson it seems to have no end! Against Valentin Moldavsky, another pupil of Fedor Emelianenko in the attraction, he was the executioner of the time. The heavyweight veteran was defeated for the fifth time in a row and offered no resistance to the Russian's speed and clinch game.

The 15 minutes of fight were, for the most part, fought in the clinch and on the cage, with the Russian superiority. When they broke free, Moldavsky also landed the best blows.

This was the fifth victory for the promise, who remains undefeated in Bellator and, little by little, grows in the category. On the other hand, Roy Nelson, who was hired with some pomp, turned into a disappointment. At 44 years old, “Big Country” fought six fights for the organization and lost five.

John Salter wins and gets closer to the belt

In the opening of the main card, John Salter dominated the action against Andrew Kapel. The 35-year-old fighter did the simple thing efficiently: he took down and showed superiority on the ground. If the submission didn't come in the first two rounds, it came in the third.

Kapel, already exhausted, couldn't resist the katagatame and had to give it three taps. The beautiful victory was the third in a row for Salter, who is very close to fighting for the middleweight belt.
