the ceará Ron Jason is the second Brazilian confirmed on the UFC Rio 3 card, also called UFC 153, an event scheduled to take place on October 13th, at the HSBC Arena, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. The fighter, who won TUF Brazil among featherweights, revealed during the UFCDay, held this Wednesday (18), in the Rocinha favela, which is confirmed on the card, but still has no defined opponent.
Ron joins Glover Teixeira, the first Brazilian announced in the event's fight program. Glover will face the former light heavyweight champion Quinton Rampage Jackson.
Another TUF participant who could appear on the card is Cezar Mutant. The winner of the middleweight reality show said, also during the UFC Day, who also received an invitation to fight in the event in Brazil, but needs to recover from an injury to confirm his participation.
“I received the invitation, but I am recovering from an injury. I need to receive medical clearance to be able to fight. I am still undergoing treatment and awaiting this release,” said Mutante.
