The good performances of Charles of the Bronx e Gilbert Durinho No. UFC Brasilia, held last Saturday (14), yielded good results for the athletes. After defeating Kevin Lee e Demian Maia, lightweight (up to 70,3kg) and welterweight (up to 77kg) made good leaps in their respective categories. After updating the rankings on the official Ultimate website, the Brazilians finally appeared in the top 10 of their divisions.

When he went up to the octagon to face Kevin Lee, Do Bronx was ranked 13th in the lightweight division. After defeating the North American in the main fight, the Brazilian was awarded the five-square jump and remains firmly on track towards a future title fight.
Durinho, who is also in a great phase in the organization, having defeated Demian, in addition to maintaining his unbeaten record since moving to welterweight, is now close to the top 5, where the favorite athletes to challenge the belt holder are, Kamaru Usman.
Defeated on last weekend's card, Maia and Lee dropped two positions. Close to his retirement, the 42-year-old from São Paulo now finds himself seventh in the welterweight division, while the North American, who suggested a break in his career after the setback, is now in 10th.
After the achievements in UFC Brasilia, both Charles and Durinho declared their interests for the next commitments. While the São Paulo native was bold and asked for a title fight against the winner of Khabib Nurmagomedov e Tony Ferguson, the Niteroi native challenged the loudmouth Colby covington for a fight.
