It was a war! The Chinese Weili Zhang and the Polish Joanna Jedrzejczyk they fought the best fight in the history of women's MMA. In the second most important duel in the UFC 248, held this Saturday (07), the strawweights fought an epic 25-minute battle. In the end, Zhang prevailed and defended the belt in a split decision (48-47, 47-48, 48-47).
In a duel full of alternations in control, Zhang relied on strength, while Joanna relied on her volume of strikes. The champion started the fight better, but the challenger balanced things out in the following rounds. In the last round, no one knew who could win. But the Chinese woman, showing a lot of heart, managed to win the contest.
